Future Observatory Journal: Digital Campaign

Helping to turn the Future Observatory Journal’s latest issue into a global conversation on sustainable design.

Showcasing design and eco-action at scale

The Design Museum approached us in May 2025 to support the launch of the Future Observatory Journal’s Issue 2 - a free digital publication exploring design, ecology and sustainable practices. It appeals to a wide spectrum of audiences, from students to industry leaders.

Here's how we generated awareness on social media, translating into meaningful engagement with their rich website content.

Campaign Results

Overall, the campaign received over a million ad impressions, strong video engagement across platforms and high levels of interaction and click-through to site content.

Human-centric creative storytelling

We developed a strategic, human-led storytelling approach for the creative, alongside a compact funnel paid media plan to grow reach, deepen engagement, and position the journal as a global voice in sustainable design.

The asset pack featured social-first content utilising existing client assets in line with current platform trends, including animations, audio snippets, and carousels. We worked closely with the Future Observatory Journal team and collaborators to develop content that effectively brought the story of the Journal to life.

Driving impact with a focused funnel strategy

With a clear funnel strategy, we targeted key audiences across design, architecture, and sustainability on social media, while also employing Google Search to guide users through the funnel.

Over just several weeks, we achieved strong impact across all channels, driving significant awareness and engagement. Website metrics continued to indicate high-quality traffic even after the paid campaign had finished, demonstrating sustained interest in the Journal and its content.
